For Halloween day we didn't really do much but go to the store and make
sure we had enough batteries for our flickering lights in the pumpkins and for Porter's ghost flashlight. For dinner we made ghost pizzas and salad with blood dressing.

So last year when our friends, the Frehners, lived here we would have Guitar Hero parties at their house and Sam and I were horrible. A couple of months ago we bought a WII and were stoked to hear that Guitar Hero III was coming out for the WII Oct. 28th. So I got on the waiting list and on Wed. night we realized it was the 30th and we hadnt gotten the game yet. Ever since then we have been rockin out. Porter even tells me "You Rock Mom!".
After a couple of days we are improving. Sam had this crazy song he couldn't pass and I told him where's Corby when you need him. I found out that you can go online with Guitar Hero and play against friends or strangers so were thinking it would be cool to if the Frehners had a WII and we could play Guitar Hero together again. I just read Ammie's blog and sure enough they just got a WII so Frehners give us some time to get as good as you guys, then bring on the competition!

Last night I heard Ruby whinning in the front room and before I got in there she stopped so I thought nothing of it. When I went to check on her a few minutes later this is what I found:I asked him what he was doing and he said "Ruby was crying so I gave her a bite." Well the candy worked cause she stopped crying but then we had to have Porter eat the rest of his candy in the kitchen because now Ruby cries if she sees anyone eating candy. Ruby can't even figure out how to swallow rice cereal so I can't let her get addicted to sugar before she has her first foods fruits and veggies.

Porter's and Ruby's pumpkins were perfect and there was no way I was going to let them have any holes, because I want to save them for Thanksgiving, so we used these rub on tatoo faces. They all turned out really cute and luckily it was really fast and easy.
