I was invited for a girls night with my Mother-in-law, sister-in-law (Megan), and two cousins at Tuachan to see High School Musical 2. I realized later that my sister, Trisha, was coming to my house that night and I would be a total jerk if I didn't get her a ticket. I told my Mother-in-law that I was going to get an extra ticket and hope that she could sit next to us but she said he had had a migraine the night before and really didn't want to go and let my sister have her ticket.
Trisha left a few minutes late driving down from BYU and then hit construction and was way late getting to my house and we in turn were not going to make it to Tuachan on time so we were so excited when Megan called and asked if we cared if they switched the tickets and we went to Footloose instead which started an hour later and worked out way better for me!!!
We grabbed a Vanilla Bean Frapaccino with double caramel and made it on time to the show. The show was good, some dull parts mostly the Reverend, and some awesome musical numbers like "Hear It For The Boys", and "I Need A Hero".
Afterwards we were delirious because it was near midnight so we waited in line to get pictures with the cast eventhough we only had a cellphone camera because when Trisha turned on her real camera she realized she had forgotten her SD card.
The guy who plays Ren is Thayne Jacobson from season 4 of SYTYCD (So You Think You Can Dance). I am loving season 5 right now but totally missed 4 so I will have to go back and watch it.
This girl plays "Rusty" and sings "Let's Hear It For The Boys" our favorite number of the night and she recently graduated from BYU.

Fireworks

We went home after the parade and hung out until Sam's family came to visit. We went out for a nice family dinner at Pizza Factory and then went to the airport to watch the fireworks.
Now sometimes when it gets dark Ruby asks if there will be fireworks.
Ruby was really scared just thinking of what fireworks would be like so she brought her teddy bear.

We played with sparklers before the fireworks because the firework show didn't start until after 10pm.

The 4th of July
This year the 4th started off early. At 6am Sam took our chairs along with some of our friends chairs and lined them up on Main Street so we could have a good view of the parade while sitting in the shade!!! We had a lot of fun at the parade with all of our friends. We ended up with quite the crowd.
The only gripe I have about the parade is that someone had the audacity to put blankets in front of our chairs sometime between 6am and 9am when we got to the parade. Luckily we are rude and we just sat in our seats with our feet on their blankets sorry suckers but usually people have to put their feet somewhere.
Hunter was trying to get my camera with his flag.

Broken Monitor
I havent updated because our computer monitor is broken and I had to mail it in to get it fixed. All of my photo editing software is on our computer so I can't use my laptop to do anything but type. My last post was a month ago and boy have we been busy. As soon as we get the monitor back I will post more and have pictures.
This week will be another crazy busy week with preschool at my house and Ruby's 2nd birthday, not to mention both of Sam's parents birthdays and one of his sisters birthdays so we will be having a big birthday party in Mesquite this weekend. I haven't been home for more than 3 days in a row for the last three weeks and we are going out of town again this weekend thank goodness I still have our bags packed and I just keep changing the clothes out.

Easter Egg Hunt
Next there was an egg sugar cookie contest and Mary was so cute pushing us to get lots of frosting and telling the judges that the kids with her should win. I guess she has a lot of pull at the Lodge so Josie & Amy both won prizes.
