Since we were in St. George visiting with family we stayed and did the easter egg hunt fun there also. My grandparents have a sweet little lady with purple/red hair that lives across the street from their house, her name is Mary. We have known Mary for years and since she knew we were all visiting she invited us to go to her Elks Lodge Easter festivities. Parker is terrified of the Easter bunny so he would only stay in the hall holding onto Trisha. The rest of the kids, Porter, Ruby, Josie & my cousin Amy, played some fun games.
Next there was an egg sugar cookie contest and Mary was so cute pushing us to get lots of frosting and telling the judges that the kids with her should win. I guess she has a lot of pull at the Lodge so Josie & Amy both won prizes.
Last was the egg hunt and if I would have known how crappy it would be I wouldn't have tortured myself with the whole adventure. For the age group that both my kids were in we went to a small room that they had thrown crappy/cheap candy on the floor and the kids just picked it up. Not even one single egg in the whole room!!!!

Now just to vent. The Elks Lodge is dingy and dark and half the time we were in a restaurant standing next to the bar. They led the kids into that dinning hall through a door that said no one under 21, and every Nascar white trash all tatooed up person in St. George was there. Now I know.
