The next day while Sam finished his conference (luckily they didn't notice he missed half a day and he still got his certification) I talked to my Dr. and told him what the ER had said. He told me to basically be on bedrest for 48 hrs after any bleeding and to take it easy and got an ultrasound scheduled. Sam and I decided that it would be best for me and the kids to stay at my parents while he went home and my parents would drive me back before the ultrasound and would stay for Thanksgiving.
This meant giving up my New Moon ticket and not getting to wear my matching shirt to the midnight premiere with all of my friends. I was really bummed because this was the biggest girls night party of the year and I had been looking forward to it for months.
I stayed at my parents for a week while my Mom took care of my kids. It was really boring to lay on a couch watching TV all day long. My Mom kept my kids busy and they left to go to parks and visit my sister so sometimes I was by myself for hours, except my grandma did check up on me every hour or so.
Eventhough it was boring it was a nice break and I think the rest really helped. On Tuesday we packed my parents, me and my kids into their car, and by packed I mean we were really packed in there. We took it slow and steady because my parents dont allow food in their car and I have to eat every 2 hours. In the end it took 7 hours, not bad with all the stops we made, and we were finally home to see Sam.
Thanks Mom, Dad, Lacy & GG too!
